TROUP GA-0594’s FAMILY
ADVENTURE 2019
Includes:
- Ark Walk-through Tour, Video, Scavenger Hunt
- Ark on your own, and Snack
- Private Zoo Experience in the morning
- As much time as you want to spend on Saturday
at the Ark park
- Photo package to be shared digitally
- Partially Hot Continental Breakfast at
Emzara’s restaurant
Considerations:
Minimum
group size is 34, max is 100. We need paid reservations by June 2, 2019.
It
is a seven hour drive and you will need to arrive by 7pm on Friday. The Ark does not offer
Saturday night experiences so that it’s employees may be off on Sunday morning
for church.
Bring
your own bedding. No showers.
Ages
5 plus are fine. Parent/guardian must
accompany children. You may invite families outside of our troop with TLUSA and
AHG aged children. It’s a great outreach opp!
Cost
is an average across all participants and includes partially hot breakfast and
photo package.
Trip Ideas – ON YOUR OWN
The
Ark [additional costs] – zip lines, animal rides, fossil digs and more.
The
Creation Museum is 40 minutes north. You
will likely be ready to depart the Ark early on Saturday. You may want to consider also visiting the
Creation Museum – it is also an awesome experience.
If
you add an hour to your drive [plus time spent at cave] you could stop into
Mammoth Cave. This is an incredible cave
experience.
You
can also stop by Cumberland Falls without adding too much drive time. Check out pics on-line, it is amazing.
